Space2Grow #25 - English, Maths and Science support fund in Supplementary Schools
Space2Grow#25 was launched in August 2022 for members who deliver Supplementary School education to apply for up to £2,500 to support the advancement of core curriculum subjects (English, Maths and Science).

Adapted from Space2Grow#6 to make the Application process along with the Monitoring and Evaluation easier, the general premise of the funding has not changed. The grant is again to support YBF Members to delivery core curriculum subjects in English, Maths &/or Science as part of their Supplementary School delivery, with the aim of driving up attainment.

Total Amount Available to Award: £22,500* per year for 3 years
Maximum any one award: £2,500 per year, plus additional £250 to cover Upshot M&E Licence

Process
1) Read Eligibility Criteria
2) Apply online
3) Receive decision
4) Return payment grant acceptance form to receive payment
5) Complete online M&E form at the end of each academic year to be eligible for the next payment. ​​

Who can apply
This fund is open to Young Barnet Foundation VCFSE members who deliver activities and services as a Supplementary School.
The grant is to cover English &/or Maths &/or Science lessons as part of your Supplementary School offer. ​

Application Process
Application is via the online application form only. It has been designed to be simple and quick to complete, with the aim it should not take more than 20-30 minutes to complete. Please note that once you start the form you cannot save it and come back to it later, however, a pdf version of the form is available here for you to review questions and draft answers, that can then be copy and pasted into form.

What can we apply for?
​£2,500 per year. You will be awarded a 3 year grant, subject to completing each previous years Monitoring and Evaluation.
